As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for
producing high-quality, engaging, and informative content across various
digital and print platforms. Your primary focus will be on creating written
content that effectively communicates our brand message, engages our target
audience, and drives engagement and conversions. The Content creator will play a
crucial role in enhancing our brand reputation, establishing thought
leadership, and supporting our marketing and communication efforts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-4 years professional experience.
- Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
01. Research, plan, and create compelling and well-structured written content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, articles, social media, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
02. Collaborate with the marketing team and other stakeholders to understand content requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines.
03. Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, staying updated on current trends and developments to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
04. Develop content strategies to effectively communicate key messages, educate the audience, and support marketing objectives.
05. Write engaging, error-free, and SEO-friendly content that adheres to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
06. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to our digital properties.
07. Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to grammatical and formatting standards.
08. Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to enhance content with visuals, infographics, videos, and other media.
09. Stay updated on content marketing trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to propose innovative ideas and strategies.
10. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather insights and ensure accuracy and authenticity in content creation.
11. Monitor content performance using analytics tools, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize content strategies and improve audience engagement.
12. Identify opportunities for repurposing and repackaging existing content to maximize reach and effectiveness.
13. Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
14. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional creativity, storytelling abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in conducting research and synthesizing complex information into engaging and understandable content.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of HTML.
- Experience using digital tools and platforms for content creation and distribution.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance is a plus.
- Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating creativity, versatility, and ability to adapt writing style for different target audiences and formats.
