The International Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities in international markets to expand our organization's presence and drive growth. He/she should have a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in developing successful international partnerships.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in international business development, sales, or a related role.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target markets and assess market trends, competition, and customer needs.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the organization's international business operations and achieve sales targets.
Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations in international markets.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders in target markets.
Develop International Roadshow proposals for events and pitch the events potential, objectives & benefits to obtain the Management approval
Facilitate the communications and required coordination with the event organizers to ensure smooth event execution process and secure the best venue slot for the company
Collaborate with internal teams and assign required set of deliverables to ensure overall event success
Secure acquisition of B2B affiliates from the International Roadshow, initiate the communication with affiliates and drive the collaboration towards defined output
Identify the target countries for B2B affiliates agreements and potential International partners based on market research and demand
Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages of our products or services.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective execution of international business initiatives.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in target markets to identify new business opportunities or potential risks.
Attend international trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the organization and establish valuable connections.
Provide market intelligence and insights to internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and product/service development efforts.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement international marketing strategies and campaigns.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on business development activities, progress, and results to management.
Stay updated on international business trends, industry developments, and best practices to enhance the organization's global business strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all international business activities.
Travel to international locations as needed to meet clients, conduct market research, and establish business relationships.
Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Strong knowledge of international markets, business practices, and cultural considerations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners from diverse backgrounds.
