Carrières

 Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

 Accounting Certificates from recognized institutions will be an added advantage.

 6 – 7 years’ experience in payment, fixed assets and general ledger accounting.

 3 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant with supervisory responsibility.

01. Coordinating accounting functions and programs.

02. Preparing financial analyses and reports.

03. Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.

04. Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.

05. Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

06. Assisting with annual audit preparations.

07. Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

08. Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

09. Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.

10. Analysing financial information and summarizing financial status.

11. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.

12. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.

13. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

14. Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.

15. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

 Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

 Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work under pressure with large volumes of data.

 Analytical, interpretative and / or constructive thinking and a significant degree of evaluative judgement.

 Cost analysis skills will be an added advantage.

 Knowledge of International and Company’s Accounting Standards.
