The United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s most attractive real estate investment destinations, with new international survey findings showing rising global investor confidence driven by stability, regulation, and long-term economic vision.
Global investors are increasing their exposure to UAE real estate
A recent survey carried out by the US-based Penta Group in partnership with UAE developer ARADA shows a clear shift in investor sentiment toward the Emirates.
Key highlights from the study include:
- 56% of international investors say they plan to increase their exposure to UAE real estate
- 51% are already familiar with investment opportunities in the market
- The UAE ranks among the top three preferred real estate destinations for most respondents
The results reflect a steady build-up of confidence in the country’s property sector, especially among investors across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Strong demand across major investor markets
The survey also shows how widely the UAE is recognized as a preferred investment hub across different regions.
Among investors surveyed:
- Egypt: 92% placed the UAE among their top destinations
- India: 91%
- Saudi Arabia: 85%
In Europe, sentiment remains equally strong:
- France: 63%
- Germany: 60%
- Switzerland: 57%
Across all these markets, the UAE continues to stand out for its accessible property laws, regulatory clarity, and long-term growth potential.
Leadership points to stability as the foundation of growth
Commenting on the survey findings, Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted that the UAE’s appeal is rooted in its broader national framework rather than short-term market movements.
He pointed to a system built on stability, strong governance, and clear legislation, noting that these elements have been central to shaping investor trust over time.
He also emphasized that investors are increasingly viewing the UAE as a place where capital security and long-term planning go hand in hand, not just a market for immediate returns.
Why investors continue to choose the UAE
The survey identified several key reasons behind the country’s continued appeal:
- Political and economic stability
- Transparent and well-defined legal framework
- Ease of property ownership for foreign investors
- Strong safety and security environment
- Consistent potential for attractive returns
Together, these factors continue to support steady demand in both off-plan developments and completed residential projects.
UAE maintains its position as a global property hub
The latest findings reinforce the UAE’s standing as a leading global real estate destination, where international investors are increasingly allocating long-term capital.
As global markets shift and diversification becomes a priority, the UAE—particularly Dubai and Abu Dhabi—continues to attract sustained interest for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The UAE property market is moving fast, with strong global demand continuing to shape new opportunities.
