AED 4.6 Billion in Real Estate Trading

According to the latest report, Sharjah recorded AED 4.6 billion worth of real estate trading during August, supported by 9,139 transactions.

The 9,139 transactions covered several types of real estate activity, including ownership certificates, title deeds, initial sales contracts, mortgages and valuations. Sales transactions alone reached 2,367 across 120 areas.

For buyers, this activity provides a useful indication of the depth of the local market and the range of opportunities available across different communities and property types.

What the August Figures Mean for Buyers

A busy property market can give buyers more options when comparing homes, locations and prices.

Sharjah has a diverse residential market, from apartments in established communities to newer developments offering modern amenities and lifestyle-focused facilities. Buyers can therefore approach the market based on their budget, preferred location and long-term plans.

For end users, factors such as access to schools, workplaces, retail destinations, public transport and community facilities remain important when choosing a property.

Investors, meanwhile, may look more closely at rental demand, property prices, service charges, ownership rules and the potential for future resale.
