Dubai’s property market continues to attract strong activity, with around AED 9.55 billion ($2.6 billion) in real estate transactions recorded over a single week, according to figures reported by Arabian Business.
The reported activity included approximately 2,850 property sales, providing another snapshot of the level of activity in Dubai’s residential and wider real estate market.
Among the notable transactions was a luxury apartment on Palm Jumeirah reportedly valued at around AED 80.8 million ($22 million), underlining continued interest in Dubai’s high-end waterfront properties.
Dubai Real Estate Activity Remains Strong
The latest weekly figures add to the broader picture of an active Dubai property market in 2026.
Dubai Land Department provides transaction data covering different parts of the property market, including sales, mortgages, valuations, land, buildings and individual units. This data gives buyers, sellers and investors a way to follow market activity using official transaction information.
The reported weekly performance is also consistent with the strong activity seen earlier in the year. Dubai Land Department reported AED 252 billion in real estate transactions during Q1 2026, while the value of real estate dispositions increased 31% compared with the same period in 2025.
Palm Jumeirah Continues to Attract Luxury Buyers
Palm Jumeirah remains one of Dubai’s most prominent luxury residential destinations, with waterfront apartments and villas attracting high-value transactions.
The reported AED 80.8 million transaction illustrates the scale of individual deals that can occur within Dubai’s luxury property segment.
However, a single high-value transaction should not be viewed as representative of typical Dubai property prices. The emirate has a wide range of residential options, from apartments in emerging communities to villas, townhouses and luxury waterfront residences.
For buyers, the right property choice will depend on factors such as location, budget, intended use, expected holding period and the type of property being considered.
