Dubai recorded AED 13.47 billion in real estate transactions during the week of October 12–16, 2026, across 4,193 deals, according to figures reported by Arabian Business. The total included AED 8.59 billion in property sales, AED 3.72 billion in mortgages and approximately AED 1.16 billion in property gifts.

Among the week's notable deals was an apartment on Palm Jumeirah that sold for approximately AED 53.7 million ($14.6 million). The transaction highlights the high-value properties changing hands in one of Dubai's established waterfront communities.

Dubai Property Sales Reach AED 8.59 Billion

Of the AED 13.47 billion recorded during the week, property sales accounted for AED 8.59 billion across 2,676 transactions.

Ready-property sales contributed approximately AED 5.38 billion across 962 deals, while off-plan sales reached around AED 3.22 billion across 1,714 transactions. This breakdown shows activity in both completed properties and homes purchased before construction is finished.

Mortgage transactions added AED 3.72 billion across 1,266 deals, while property gifts accounted for approximately AED 1.16 billion across 251 transactions.

These figures offer a snapshot of registered real estate activity during the reporting period. They should be considered separately from longer-term indicators such as annual sales growth, property price movements and rental performance.

Palm Jumeirah Apartment Sells for AED 53.7 Million

A standout transaction during the week was an apartment on Palm Jumeirah valued at approximately AED 53.7 million ($14.6 million).

Known for its waterfront residences, private beach access at selected developments and upscale amenities, Palm Jumeirah remains one of Dubai's recognised luxury residential destinations.

However, one high-value sale does not establish a price trend across the community. Property values vary according to factors such as floor area, views, building facilities, condition and access to amenities. Buyers assessing similar homes should compare recent transactions involving properties with comparable features.
